Carol Jakubovic serves as the Secretary of the Glade Run Lake Conservancy.

Carol was born and raised in western Pennsylvania and is a Slippery Rock University alumnus. She has been a resident of Middlesex Township in Butler County for more than 30 years and appreciates the simplicity, tranquility, and natural beauty of her home and its close proximity to Glade Run Lake. As a retired elementary school teacher, Carol spent 35 years teaching in the Fox Chapel Area School District at Hartwood Elementary.

Carol joined the Glade Run Lake Conservancy Board of Directors in 2015. As secretary, her responsibilities include documenting board meeting minutes, voting on policy decisions, and creating the Glade Run Lake Conservancy's annual newsletter. Carol eagerly supports the organizations's mission of preserving and improving the lake property as well as its use for outdoor recreation, environmental conservation, and education.

Some of Carol's favorite activities include perennial gardening, running after her grandchildren, and going to the Pittsburgh Pirates games with her husband, Jake.
