About the Event

Our Community Conservation Day will be a fun day of outdoor activities for all! Planned events include:

- Educational booths
- Kayak and stand-up paddle board demonstrations
- Environmental activities
- Giveaway of free native trees and shrubs (provided by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation)
- Food from A Piece of Italy food truck
- Raffle baskets and a silent auction
- Face Painting by Lisa Busa

In the evening, we'll wrap things up by hosting our final Nature Series event, "Things That Go Bump In The Night". You'll be delighted to learn about owls, opossums, and other nocturnal animals from the Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy. This 90-minute program is suited for all ages.

In addition to the Glade Run Lake Conservancy, other outdoor organizations will be present at our Community Conservation Day including Wildbird Recovery, Public Lands, Penn State Master Gardeners of Butler County, and the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau.
