GRLC Day of Giving

Help us preserve & protect the lake and its watershed by participating in our Day of Giving fundraiser.

About the Event

Glade Run Lake Conservancy is dedicated to the restoration, ongoing preservation,
and improvement of Glade Run Lake and its adjacent lands in southern Butler
County, Pennsylvania. Glade Run Lake is a 52-acre lake that provides clean
drinking water to the surrounding community, desirable habitat for native wildlife,
plant species, and aquatic life, and countless recreational activities. By encouraging
the use of Glade Run Lake and its surrounding park land, the GRLC promotes
outdoor recreation, environmental conservation, and education of the natural world
for people of all ages.

Community members formed this organization in 2011 following the draining of the
lake with the mission of bringing it back. Over the next 6 years, they raised enough
awareness and funds to obtain the support of the state and successfully restored
and improved Glade Run Lake. With the initial goal now completed, current goals of
the GRLC include creating vibrant habitats for fish and wildlife, improving on-site
facilities, educating the community, and protecting in perpetuity the 2,000 acre
watershed of Glade Run Lake through land acquisition and conservation easements.
GRLC strives to invest donations of funds, volunteer energies, and other resources
entrusted to the organization as effectively as possible to support its mission. This
success has been and will continue to be dependent upon fundraising ability.

Any donation would greatly benefit our mission and bring us closer to our
goals.

Glade Run Lake Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the Federal
Tax ID Number is 80-0774897. Please take this exciting opportunity to show your
commitment to protecting our local natural resources.
