About the Event

Isn't it time that you started calling trees by their names? Join Chatham University professor, Linda MK Johnson, for a walk in the woods around Glade Run Lake. We will start with learning some basic plant identification terminology and then spend most of the time trying to see - not just the forest - but the trees! 

Using both traditional and digital identification guides, you will improve your recognition of our common tree species as well as learn some fun facts about them. By the end of the session, you'll be on a first name basis with our tree community!
