Upcoming Event: Walk in Penn's Woods

Location: Glade Run Lake, Valencia, PA (meet at the trailhead entrance)

Join the Glade Run Lake Conservancy for an educational walk in "Penn's Woods" on the trail at Glade Run Lake. A DCNR Forester will lead the walk and host a casual discussion about the trees and plants that make up the woods around Glade Run Lake.

Learn how to identify trees along the trail and what makes them important for the wildlife around the lake. The woods around Glade Run Lake are representative of what might be in your backyard, so bring your questions!

This out-and-back walk is approximately two miles in length on varying terrain. It is not stroller or wheelchair accessible. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trail.
